Rupert Bent III

Reggae Pickney’s Music Producer for all our CDs is Rupert Bent III. He is a Grammy-nominated producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and sound engineer with over 25 years in the reggae music industry, and his recording studio, Gypsy Music, in Kingston Jamaica.

Jana Bent

The Writing and Editing Teams are led by Reggae Pickney’s Project Director and owner of the parent company, KQC Enterprises, Jana Bent. Jana is a writer, who worked as a singer, dancer and choreographer and has either recorded or toured with various reggae artists, including, Shaggy, Damian Marley, The Wailers, Sean Paul, Bounty Killer and Spragga Benz.

 

Editing is done by Dr. Rebecca Tortello, Special Advisor to the Minister of Education on Early Childhood Development. Additional editing is done by the Dudley Grant Memorial Trust, pioneers and authorities in Early Childhood Development in Jamaica. Led by Mrs. Ceceile Minott, The Trust tests our products in schools, to gather edits and comments from teachers and children for incorporation into the books before we go to print

 
Sales and Marketing

Cary Ragbeer is a US based Businessman with years of experience in sales and marketing as well as business operations. The Artwork

Our primary Illustrator and art layout is Kingston based Sanjay Charlton, who is trained in the international standards for illustrations in children’s stories. Trinidadian, John Mendes did illustrations on our first book, “Shaggy Parrot and the Reggae Band” and Jamaican Rachel Wade-Moss did the art for the “Shaggy Parrot and The Reggae Band Colouring Book”. Printing is done by Precise Full Service Media.
